Builders’ Buzz is Good News for You!

There is a buzz in the home building industry this week and it’s great news that’s got everyone talking. According to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), “Builder confidence in the market for newly-built single-family homes hit a significant milestone in June, surging eight points to a reading of 52*…” This milestone indicates that the majority of builders view sales conditions as being good rather than poor, and it’s the first time this kind of surge has happened since August/September of 2002.

Although you’re probably not a builder, this milestone means that the US economy is strengthening and that consumers are again able to build homes. Home building is a significant part of the economy in the US, but we also see more good news in other important sectors of our economy.
